Dr. Edward Hatchigian, Bariatric Physician
Edward Hatchigian, M.D., M.S., is the Medical Director of the Gastric Bypass Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Dr. Hatchigian received his Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Science in the area of Environmental Health from Tufts University.

Dr. Hatchigian received his medical training at Harvard University Medical School and completed his internship and residency in medicine at the Deaconess Hospital in Boston. He completed fellowship training on the Nutrition Support Service of the Departments of Medicine and Surgery at the Deaconness Hospital as well.

Dr. Hatchigian has worked in the field of nutrition for 20 years, including research in the area of nutrition immunology with the Nutrition Pathology Unit at Boston City Hospital.
